Tire Swivel Specifications


  Tire Swivel Specifications,  These are  for children 5-12 year olds only. Not for Adults.

     A120 - Heavy Duty Wood Beam Tire Swivel - Residential
A heavy duty swivel, with lubricating ball bearing for hanging tires in wood beams. It will turn 360 degrees with less tangling or wrapping chain. This is for RESIDENTIAL use only. Plate is 6” x 3” with two ½” holes that start ¾” in from plate and are 4.5” center to center.


  Installation: Bolt swivel to wood beam with ½’ bolts with the length depending on thickness of the wood. (Bolts and nuts are not included.) You will need to use S-hooks or shackles from the chain to the swivel. Make sure the S-hooks are closed to within .04 to meet ASTM safety standards. To do this you will need to use our S-hook pliers or a regular pair of channel lock pliers. WARNING: Once the S-hooks have been opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking. Make sure that if you are using shackles they are also tightened.

     A125 - Light Duty Wood Beam Tire Swivel - Residential
A light duty swivel with lubricating ball bearing for hanging tires on wood beams. It will turn 360 Degrees with less tangling or wrapping chain. Plate is 5” x 2.25” with two ½” holes center to center. This swivel is better made and has fuller motion than other look a- likes.

  Installation: Bolt swivel to wood beam with ½’ bolts with the length depending on thickness of the wood. (Bolts and nuts are not included.)



     A127 - Heavy Duty Wood Beam Tire Swivel - Commercial
This heavy duty tire swivel has universal joints covered with a rubber boot for finger protection. It will turn 360 degrees with less tangling or wrapping the chains. Painted with rust proof enamel in black. Plate is 8” x 4” with two 5/8” holes that are 6.5” center to center. The swivel is 10.5” in overall length. Holds up to 5000 lbs.

  Installation: Bolt swivel to wood beam with ½’ bolts with the length depending on thickness of the wood. (Bolts and nuts are not included.)

     A130 - Extra Heavy Duty Wood Beam Tire Swivel - Commercial
This swivel will turn 360 degrees with less tangling or wrapping the chains. Universal joints are covered with a rubber boot for finger protection. Painted with rust proof enamel in red. This also has Two plates that are 5.5” x 5.5” with four 9/16” holes that are 3.5” center to center. Holds up to 5000 lbs.

  Installation: Place swivel under the beam and attach carriage bolts and nuts snugly. Use correct size carriage bolts for the size of wood and nuts with lock tight and attach snugly. (Bolts and nuts are not included)

     A131 - Large Extra Heavy Duty Wood Beam 3 Prong Tire Swivel - Commercial
This tire swivel has 3 prongs to help prevent chains from tangling. Our extra heavy duty commercial tire swivel has a top plate for added strength and a rubber boot to prevent fingers from being pinched. The top plate has four holes for attaching to a wood beam. The four 7/16” holes are center to center. The plate is overall 5.5” long and 5.5” wide. The entire swivel is 9” long. Holes are round not oblong. Powder coated in a bright red finish.

  Installation: Place swivel under the beam and attach carriage bolts and nuts snugly. Use correct size carriage bolts for the size of wood and nuts with lock tight and attach snugly. (Bolts and nuts are not included)

     A132 - Heavy Duty Wood Beam 3 Prong Tire Swivel - Commercial
This tire swivel has 3 prongs to help prevent chains from tangling. Our commercial tire swivel a rubber boot to prevent fingers from being pinched. The four 5/8” holes on a 4.5” x 3” plate with center to center length being 3” and 1.5” in width. Powder coated in a bright red finish. Holds up tp 5000 lbs.

  Installation: Place swivel under the beam and attach carriage bolts and nuts snugly. Use correct size carriage bolts for the size of wood and nuts with lock tight and attach snugly. This heavy duty tire swivel works on 2 3/8” O.D. schedule 40 pipe framed swing sets. It has a heavy duty universal joint with a rubber boot and comes in red. ½” carriage bolt and nut are included. Holds up to 5000 lbs.

     A134 - Pipe 3 1/2" O.D. Tire Swivel - Commercial
This heavy duty tire swivel works on 3 ½” O.D. schedule 40 pipe framed swing sets. It has a heavy duty universal joint with a rubber boot and comes in red. ½” carriage bolt and nut are included.

  Installation: Place top plate on top of pipe frame and place tire swivel under and attach bolts and nuts snugly. You will need to use S-hooks or shackles from the chain to the swivel. Make sure the S-hooks are closed to within .04 to meet ASTM safety standards. To do this you will need to use our S-hook pliers or a regular pair of channel lock pliers.      A136 - Extra Heavy Duty Wood Beam 3 Prong Tire Swivel - Commercial
